Weight Loss Supplements - My Experience

When it comes to losing weight, supplements, diet aids, and pills are a hot button topic that never dies. I myself have see-sawed between depending on weight loss supplements, or avoiding them.

Not all diet pills are created equal, and most of these supplements aren't even pills or harmful.

Read this article and learn about some various supplements I have taken, and that could help you lose weight.



Green Tea

Green tea is a well known health drink, and it has plenty of weight loss properties. The ECGC attaches to fat cells and helps your body to store less fat, and it promotes energy.

Believe it or not, green tea pills work just as well. They can be bought for fairly cheap at most grocery and retail stores like Wal-Mart.

I prefer the brand pictured to the right, which is the basic green tea formula. However, most stores also carry one called "Green Tea Fat Burner" which also include caffeeine. These are great for energy and appetite suppression, but start slow because they are strong. I recommend only using them if you really need an extra edge with weight loss, as they are cheap and effective.



Garcinia Cambogia

Garcinia Cambogia pills are another popular option for weight loss. It originates from an extract from a tropical plant. They are not the magic pill people might think they are, but studies have shown that Garcinia Cambogia promotes weight loss.

Garcinia Cambogia was one of the staples I used during my weight loss. It was not the only pill I tried, but was one of the only ones I stuck with. It does give me a noticeable but small boost in energy as well.

It can be bought in most stores, but also is one supplement you may want to order online. Amazon or other supplement retailers can have good deals, and it is important to find a product with decent strength.



Fish Oil

This is another easy supplement to find at the store. Fish Oil has many benefits from Omega 3 fatty acids such as aiding joint and heart health.

Believe it or not, these pills also promote weight loss. I recommend to take at least 2 a day, for a variety of health reasons.



Thermogyenic Weight Loss Pills

This is more of a general category, but many diet pills, especially the riskier ones like Epedrine, can fall in this category.

If you are trying to lose weight in a healthy way, I don't recommend going to this level. However, taking a thermogyenic supplement

These are types you would typically order online or buy from a vitamin store, but they can be found at Wal-Mart these days. Be cautious when going down this road, and don't put weight loss before general health.

However, if you need an extra edge and have tons of weight to lose, this can help dramatically. I was using thermogyenics bought from GNC with my weight loss stack, and it produced results. However, I feel that I went to far to lose the weight, and stopped taking most supplements after some time.



CLA Safflower Oil

This is another diet pill that is similar to Garcinia Cambogia, but is a bit newer and less well known. I decided to try it out more recently as I had gained some holiday weight.

Dr. Oz actually examined Safflower Oil in 2012 and found that it significantly helped reduce abdomnal fat.

Believe it or not, as a male that is where the majority of my fat accumulates. I may not even carry much at all on my limbs, but the belly fat is the last to go.

CLA Safflower oil worked well, and overall it has been more successful than my other attempts.
